Project Overview

The City of Port Richey has selected Taylor Engineering to provide professional engineering services during the continued permitting of two dredging projects. The city’s Phase II project comprises dredging Channel 12 and extending the channel to create an improved connection to the Gulf of Mexico through a Phase I channel or the Federal Navigation Channel in the Pithlachascotee River. The Phase III project comprises dredging Channel 27, located in Lake Deedra, and Channel 28, to create a permitable connection to the Gulf of Mexico via the Federal Navigation Channel on the Pithlachascotee River.
